Close to you and your customers: Three BGS locations in Germany

BGS is present at three different locations in Germany: in North Rhine-Westphalia at the headquarters in Wiehl near Gummersbach, in Bruchsal (near Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg) and in Saal an der Donau (near Regensburg in Bavaria). The 10 MeV-electron accelerator in Bruchsal offers the possibility of irradiating articles up to 12.0 metres long and 1.60 metres wide. This is unique worldwide.

The plants at all three locations are state-of-the-art and they are differently configured, in order to enable them to deal with a very wide range of products and different customer wishes. Nevertheless the ‘back-up’ principle applies: each of the locations is in a position to help process the orders of the others. In this way BGS makes an important contribution to production reliability.
